T.O.T.S. in Ottoland Jan. 22, 2010

Here is a clip from the last show of Things Outside The Skin, a Brooklyn band by way of a Virginia swamp that seemed to have a healthy supply of Faith No More and Public Enemy, which is a pretty good thing to have a healthy supply of, swamp or no swamp. This is the first number from their set at Otto’s Shrunken Head on East 14th St. in Manhattan. They are a very fun band to see live, and the lack of a live drummer comes off far worse on this video than in person. (full disclosure- I know these guys, and they know I think they should mix live drums with programmed drums. I have to cut them slack because it’s New York and it’s a hard town to find people with space for a drumkit)
